Deposit
A $75.00 deposit must accompany all applications, even those requesting financial aid. Maximum
deposit $150.00 per family. Your deposit is non-refundable once the applicant is offered one of
their chosen weeks.

Scholarships
All 4-H members are eligible for some scholarship assistance regardless of income.  All active 4-H members are encouraged to submit a scholarship form with their application.

Available to St. Lawrence and Franklin County Residents Only:  Scholarship assistance is available through both counties.  Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and date received by the camp office. To apply for a scholarship you must complete and sign the Scholarship Form (FORM 3) and submit it with your completed camp application (FORM 1).   Scholarships are limited so be sure to submit your application before the April 15th deadline.  There are a limited number of scholarships available for the Adirondack Experience Program.

I M P O R T A N T! 
Scholarship applications  must be postmarked no later than April 15th to be considered for a scholarship.

Discounts - Traditional Camp Only (No discounts for the Cloverbud Session)
Early Registration Incentive
– Applications postmarked by April 15, 2007 will receive a $15 discount.

Family Discount Families registering 2 or more children will receive a $15 discount per child per week. Applications must be received together.

N O T E!  These discounts are available for Traditional Overnight Camp  only.  You may use only one discount per child per week.

Camp Store
Our camp store will be open Sunday during registration and Friday evening at closing time (except Friday Aug 10) for campers and parents to purchase T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, small stuffed animals etc.   Families may wish to purchase a Camp Store Coupon - $2.50 maximum for Cloverbud and $7.50 for all others. Campers can use this coupon to purchase small personal items such as post cards, stamps, freeze pops and candy during their time at camp. Camp store coupons can be purchased by selecting it on the camp application. Campers should not carry cash at camp.  Balances left on camp store coupons will not be refunded.

Refunds

  • Once the camper is given a slot in their requested session, the $75.00 deposit fee is non-refundable except in the case of camper sickness/injury or a sickness/death in the camper's family.
  • Tuition refunds (less the $75.00 deposit fee), will be granted when a cancellation is made 10 or more days in advance of the camp session.
  • Once the 10 day advance notice period is past, tuition refunds (less the deposit fee) will be granted only in the cases of camper sickness or a sickness/death in the camper's family.
  • If a camper leaves camp for any other reason besides injury/family emergency, no refund will be made unless approved by the 4-H Camp Advisory Board. No refunds are given for campers who go home due to homesickness, medication problems, and/or inappropriate behavior, etc.
  • In situations where a reund is given, the refund is pro-rated at $25.00 per day, up to $125.00 total.

Returned Checks
There will be a $25.00 fee for checks returned to Cooperative Extension for insufficient funds.

Health Requirements
A physical exam is not required for attendance, however, we strongly recommend that your child has a thorough annual physical exam. A health form includes a medication information  section that must be signed by a physician or your child will not be given over the counter medications or prescriptions. The completed and signed health form must be returned by June 16. Specific immunization dates (i.e. month/day/year) must be recorded on the health form or attach a copy of the immunization record to the health form. A health check and head lice screening will be performed by our camp nurse upon arrival at camp.
